Our mission: to turn every court into center court

OUR MISSION

To turn every court into center court

Clutch was founded in 2021 by a group of racket sports players, software engineers and designers. Leveraging state of the art computer vision and expert domain knowledge, we have developed the world’s most powerful and fully automated AI for racket sports.

Just a few months after releasing our app we have built a fast-growing global user base within badminton, tennis & padel. Our users range from Olympic medalists to recreational players levelling up their on-court experience.

The proposition of Clutch is simple: seamlessly provide players with amazing highlight reels from their games & power them with a personal AI coach.

There are millions of racket sports courts out there. With hundreds of millions of players grinding it out every week. We are here for those players.

The Moneyball Revolution is coming for racket sports

The traditional approach to coaching in racket sports is based on gut feeling. Manual analysis and video editing is a full time job. Moneyball and the Quantified Self movements have influenced many sports - but racket sports have been slow to catch up. The accessibility of AI is now changing that. Over half a billion people play a racket sport recreationally. Most don't have a coach. Most don't have video on their court. That’s why we're building Clutch. We celebrate the court. And our mission is clear: turn every court in the world into center court.
When players walk on court they should have access to their own personal AI coach. When they walk off court they should be able to relive their best on-court moments with video highlights that look like they were produced for TV. And that's exactly what Computer Vision and AI can do. Track every move and every shot. Learn to be the best coach. And the best camera man. We're at the beginning of the biggest disruption that the consumer athlete has seen in a century.
