Set up Clutch after your order

Just placed an order? Follow these three steps to create your venue, register your first camera and get live in the Clutch dashboard.

Create your venue & enter your order code

Head to dashboard.clutchapp.io/venue-setup and create your account.

On the venue setup screen, paste the order confirmation code from your Clutch order email. This creates your venue and unlocks your dashboard.

Can't find the code? It's at the bottom of your order confirmation email as "Your order confirmation code" — a long UUID like xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx.

Power on your camera

When your Clutch Cam arrives, connect it to power using any USB-C cable. Give it about 30 seconds to boot up and broadcast its setup network.

Connect to Wi-Fi & add your camera

On your phone or laptop, open Wi-Fi settings and connect to the network named clutchcam-XXXXXX. No password required. A setup page should open automatically — if not, go to http://192.168.0.1/.

On the setup page, switch to the Register your device tab and scan the QR code with your phone. It opens dashboard.clutchapp.io/setup pre-filled with your camera's device ID.

Scanning the QR code directs you to a self-setup page for the camera. Use the same account you used to register the venue to proceed through the process.

Once added, don't forget to point the camera at your Wi-Fi network from the Wi-Fi setup tab so it can come online after you unplug from the setup network. See the full Wi-Fi guide.
